WELLINGTON CHAMPIONSHIPS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Wellington amateur boxing championships were concluded to-night before a great crowd at the Opera House. The finals resulted as follows: I Wrestling, heavy weight—Won by Munday by default, Lanauze being unable to meet him owing to injuries. Light-weight Wrestling Won by Stewart.
Boxing Events—Bantams: Salway beat Kerr; light-weight: Watclihorn beat Perry; welter: Devitt beat Minific; heavy-weight: Hale beat Mundy; mid-dle-weight: Leckie won by default of Murphy, who was injured.
