The Dornnmd Zeitung reports that the Kaiser, after inspecting the cavalry at Doebcritz, remarked: "It looks as if they are trying to encircle us and briug us to bay, but we can bear that. hj, German never fought better than when defending himself oil all shies. Let thorn all come on. We are ready." The Berliner Tugeblatt says that while the above text is not authentic, the Kaiser expressed himself in a simil ir I sense in connection with a discussion on military topics.
