A BIG TUNNEL.
OPENED BY THE PRINCE OF WALES Received 14th,. 4.28 p.m. London, June 14. The Prince of Wales opened fli« Rotherhethe-Stepuey tunnel, ÜBBjj» fe;<t long, of which 1500 feet is under th-> river. The cost was two millions, starling, and the tunnel is the largest boriog in the world. The Prince of Wales, in his speech, rejoiced that the work had been accomplished by British mind, muscle, and material.
