Stolypin, in an interview, .iimiiiaiyuing the results of the Reval conference between King Edward and the Czar, said the Anglo-Russian agreement was necessary for maintaining the equilibrium of Europe, while the traditional friendship of Germany was essential to Russia. The Imperial interview was fruitful regarding Macedonia and Persia, whore assistance would be rendered without any form of intervention in the internal affairs ol" the countries.
