A GREAT RIVER OF LAVA, By Telegraph.— Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The Herald correspondent at Apia reports that the activity of the volcano at Savaii is greatly increasing, mid that a river of lava eight miles wide nonflows from the mountain seawards. Savaii is the largest island in the «n----nioim group, about 40 miles in length uv 20 miles, in breadth.
