PENSIONERS' COMPETITION.
AN AUCKLAND PROTEST. Per Press Association. Auckland, bast Night. At thv meeting of the Liberal and I nbor Federation to-night the following resolution was carried :-"That the Government be asked to legislate to the ell'ect that ex-civil servants who aie receiving a pension of £2OO and upwards he debarred from embarking n anv public business, profession, oreal.i„,;. [herein- entering into competition wfth business men who arc not fortunate enough to be the possessors of U\n Service pensions."
