A letter was received from the Kotorua Rugby I'nion to-night by the Auck laud Rugby Cniou protesting against the action of the New Zealand Rugby 1 nion in allowing the arrangements for the .Maori match at Rotorua to be made by an unaffiliated body, and askiug.the Auckland t'uion to forward the letter on to tile Auckland I'nion. It was decided to forward the letter, with the accompanying resolution: "That this I'nion regrets the action of the governing body in delegating the arrangement* of this matcii to an unalliliated body.'' The Rotorua I nion, in their letter, stated if the arrangements with the Maori Association were persisted ill they could not guarantee that their players would take part in the match or that the Maoris of Rotorua would welcome them.
