ACTIVE OPERATIONS CLOSED.
Calcutta., May 81.
Active operations against the Mohinmnds closed on Friday with tho destruction of a Rhoda Kliel stronghold by the second brigade. Lieut. Young, wiis dangerously wounded in the engagement and ten soldiers of the native troops were wounded.
A LIEUTENANT SUCCUMBS.
Received Ist, 9.55 p.in. Calcutta, June I. Lieutenant Young, wounded in the attack at Rhodakhas, ha> succumbed.
