At the Supreme Court to-day Joseph Coddoi was acquitted on a chargo of manslaughter arising out of the collision in tlio lower harbor oil 'April 18. Counsel for tlio defence contended that accused. was quite justified in taking the course he did and that there was nothing for him but to take such a course, as the Lady Roberts was steering a ragged course on the wrong side of the channel. Chun Dun was found guilty of assaulting Ah ICee and fined £lB.
