TUftF TOPICS. (By "Moturoa"). Quito a large number of horses came up yesterday by the afternoon tram. .1. Peachy arrived with Mahoe and Bolario; J. Cameron with Waipu; V. Collelo with Nadador; D. Johnson with Tc Kainui, and S, Brereton with Showman. All these came from Wanganui and went north last night to compete at the Great Northern meeting. Hydraulic, Otaroa, and Virtus arrived back from an unsuccessful trip to Wanganui.
T. Goddard took tlie Egmont Cup winner, Maliaranui, up to Auckland last night.
O'Connell went up by the same boat to ride Waipu and Nadador in the Hurdles and Steeplechase. All iho horses looked in good condition, Jlahoe, and Showman especially so.
