WELLINGTON SESSIONS. Per Press Association. Wellington, Monday. ' At the Supremo Court to-day no evidence was ollercd iit the ease against Annie ISarrie, charged with theft of a distress warrant. The Crown Prosecutor stated that lie was Satisfied that the act committed by prisoner though wrongful was devoid of any intent which would bring her act within the definition of theft. The prisoner had snatched a warrant from a bailiff with 'the intention of embarrassing hi m in the execution of liis duty. Wellington, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day Thomas Is-iine, alias Kain, alias Keenan, was ae quitted on a charge of assaulting David l 1 1111(1 rol)ljill g him of £7 10s. The jury disagreed in the case of John Hogan, charged with indecent assault on a little girl. A new trial takes place next week.
DUNEDIN SESSIONS.
Dunedin, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day, before r. Jutice Williams, decrees nisi were granted in the following cases:—'Win. £cott V. Betty Weir Scott, for refusal lo comply with an order for restitution of conjugal rights; Anilic McAulav v. Edward Hove McAulay, oil grounds of adu tery; Bridget Mary Booth v. Wm. Lootli, habitual drunkenness and cruelty; Thos._ Edmund Davidson v. Mary Ami Davidson, desertion; Margaret Murray y. Matthew Murray, desertion; •lames Clarke v. Emma Itachael Clarke, desertion. '
