NEW PLYMOUTH FIRE BRIGADE.
The monthly wet practice of the Mew I'lyinoulh Fire Brigade was held last evening, when the centre mains were tested and high pressure obtained. At a meeting held at the. conclusion of practice Mr. .1. It. Blacked, of the Stratford Brigade, was elected a member. It. was decided to accept tin; cliallcngi from the Avenue l!oad Cribbage aii(i Euchre Hub to a friendly game, to hi played at the Central Station on Tue» day evening next. Foreman Clark was presented wit! the Two-year Association Service Bar making a total of seven years of com pleted service.
