SUSPECTED POISONING CASE.
A BODY EXHUMED. I > Sydney, Way I,">. A ease of suspected poisoning is being inquired into by the police. The body of the victim, a man na,., Alexander Brown, aged ali, lias bee; exhumed and the contents of the stomach are being analysed. Brown, who was employed on a Sydney wharf, possessed considerable property. He died at the hospital of what the doctors supposed to be neuritis.
ACCUSED REMANDED. A SENSATION ANTICIPATED. ' Received Kith, 1. a.m. Sydney, May 10. The woman, Jana Baikie, arrested for stealing the property of Alexander llrown, who is supposed to have died ,'iom poison, and charged with causing the death of Brown, has been remanded for a week. It is believed the identity of accused will create a sensation.
