MNISTERIAL MOVEMENTS.
MK. McGOWAN AT FJJILDING. Per Press Association Feihling, Last Night. The lion. Jas. McGowan, Minister for Justice and Roads, reached here yesterday and stayed last night. A deputation asking for a new Courthouse for Feilding, waited on the Minister to-day. He visited Kimbolton and Apiti in company with Mi; Lethbridge, M.P., and received a deputation here comprising the representatives of the Pohangina and iviwitea County Councils, asking for a £1 for HI subsidy for a bridge over the Oroua river at Londons' ford.
THE PREMIER'S TRAVELS. Nelson, Last Night. The Premier and party arrived early this evening from Murchison, and, after receiving deputations on railway and wharf extension, left at eight in the Tutauekai for Kaikoura, which will he visited to-morrow. Sir Joseph will return to Wellington on Saturday, The lateness of his arrival was due to delay in getting his car across two unbridged rivers; otherwise the trip was attended by no untoward circumstances.
