Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At the S.M. Court to-day a young man named Percy Faulkner, employed as a jockey, was committed for trial on a charge of indecently assaulting a girl aged eight years. Ernest Wehrstedt, charged with forging a name to a money order telegram, was committed for trial. Napier, Last Night. At. the Hastings Police Court ihil morning, an elderly man named Frederick Thomas Farr'was brought up and charged with attempting to commit suicide by taking poison. He was remanded till Saturday. Dannevirke, Last Night. At the Police Court this afternoon, Mr. McCarthy, S.M., dealt with a number of cases of supplying prohibited persons with liquor. Two men, Charles Larsen and Henry Killeen, were fined £5 and 7s costs, for supplying, and Fred May and John CredOn £6 and £2 respectively for procuring.
