Price, Premier of South Australia, addressing the members of the Liverpool Produce Exchange, said: —"lf the merchants of Liverpool would give South Australians more for theiiproduce than they are getting in London they would send direct to Liverpool, and we would smash up all the economies of the world by giving a bonus from the subsidy to induce ship* to come to Liverpool."
