POST OFFICE REVENUE. Wellington, IjEist Night. The postal revenue of the Dominion, during the March quarter of this year wa, £112,034, as against £109,846 for the corresponding period of last year. Tim; telegraph revenue was £71,581, wmpared with £07,050. 'l'he total amount deposited in the Post Office, savings banks of the Dominion was £2,542.188, as against £2,325,090 during the first three months of 1907. The withdrawals during the same- period totalled £2,382,035 for 1908 and £2,000,251 for 1907, the excess of deposits ovw 1 withdrawals being £159,253 for this year and £324,849 last year.

TECHNICAL SCHOOL WANTED.. Palmerston North, Last Night. The Technical' School committee, decided to-night to inaugurate a movement for the purchase of a site upon which the Government will be asked to a.s'-ist in building a suitable school. Thei Pa linerst'on North Technical school is a very large institution, but it is housed in rented premises in various parte of the town, and difficulty is found in securing accommodation for the- increasing numbers.
