SINKING OF A BRITISH STEAMEIi. Received April 23, 11.20 p.m. St. Petersburg, April 23. The Supreme Prize Court at St. Petersburg overruled the Libau Prjizc Court's decision, and allowed £131,400 compensation for the sinking of the British steamer lkliona during the Rus-so-Japanese war by the Russian cruiser i'erek. The Court ruled that while the lerek was justified in stopping her, the lkliona ought to have been allowed to proceed.
