THE WELLINGTON TOURNAMENT. Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A hard northerly wind blew across the grounds at Miramar yesterday when tiie New Zealand Polo Association's annual tournament was continued. Two matches for the handicap cup were played. Despite the wind the standard of play was good all round. There was but a limited number of spectators. The first game was between Christchnrch and Fern Flate. The former had 8 goals' concession, and the latter 10. The. game ended Fern Flats 21, Christc-hurdi 11. Mnnawutu was conceded 4 goals in the match with Mangacia, and the latter 7. Features of the game were the playing of Strang and R. Levin, for Manaivatu, the hard-hitting and all-round play of Reynolds, and the keen guard work of the Murphys for Mangalicia.
