GOLD AND SILVER EXPORTS.
Per Press Association. Wellington, Thursday. During the first quarter of the present year New Zealand exported 1j4,000 ounces of gold, valued at £528,897, or 15,981 ounces, of the value of £54,897, more than during the corresponding quarter of last year. The quantity of gold exported last month was 41,584 Dunces, valued at £100,200, as compared with 50,573 ounces, valued at £203,073, in .March, 1907. The export of silver for March, 1908, was 89,038 ounces, as against 101,550 ounces iu Jlarch, 1907.
