Wellington, Thursday. A decision of much interest to civi
servants was arrived at by Cabinet in connection with the Superannuation Ait of Inst session. Under the Civil Service Eeform Act, 1886, and th c Civil Service Insurance Act, 18<I3, permanent civil servants have been building up accumulations in the Public Trust Office or contributing to tlie Government Insurance. Cabinet decided yesterday that all who joined the Superannuation Fund under th ( . Act of last session and applied under that Act for a refund of amounts that they had paid to the Public lrusUe or for the surrender value of tneiv policy should receive it.
