Then Noble and Gregory altered the complexion of the game. The principal scores were—Ransford (i 3, Hill 52, Noble 87, Gregory 10(1, Armstrong 37, Windsor (not out) 31. Trumper made a"duck." Per Pi-ess Association. Auckland, Last Night. Owing to the rain which fell almost all day, all cricket and other athletic gatherings had to be postponed. Eight cricket matches have been played. Eden has won all, scoring 18 points. Cits won four, scoring ton, Grafton four, scoring ten, North Shore four with nine points, Parnell three with eight points, and Ponsonbv one with three points.
