LEPPERTOX. (From Our Own Correspondent). The "Grand Annual Lepperton-Sentry Hill Picnic," as it was grandiloquently described on the posters, took place last Thursday on Mrs. Sampson's ground* at Sentry Hill. Weather conditions were ideal, and despite other attractions a large crowd attended, among those present being Messrs Jennings and Okey, M.'sP. The following were tlie results of the principal t .vents:—

Half-mile Open—F. Lawrence 1, .1. Jeffrey 2. Two Mile Cvcle Open—A. Feckin' 1. 220 yd? Local—Milne 1. C. Munroe 2. 440 yds Open—C Young 1. V. Tate 2. The best thanks of the committee are due to Mr«. Sampson for the use of her ground', and to those ladies who =0 bountifully provided refreshments for visitors from a distance. The committee had a balance of some-thing ov.T I C2. wbich is to be handed to the Lepperton Cemetery trustees.
