PROVINCIAL NEWS.
LEPPERTOX. (From Our Own Correspondent). The "Grand Annual Lepperton-Sentry Hill Picnic," as it was grandiloquently described on the posters, took place last Thursday on Mrs. Sampson's ground* at Sentry Hill. Weather conditions were ideal, and despite other attractions a large crowd attended, among those present being Messrs Jennings and Okey, M.'sP. The following were tlie results of the principal t .vents:—

Sampson for the use of her ground', and to those ladies who =0 bountifully provided refreshments for visitors from a distance. The committee had a balance of some-thing ov.T I C2. wbich is to be handed to the Lepperton Cemetery trustees.
