Per Press Association. Auckland, Saturday -Night. Ihe eighth round of the cricket cup cluuipiouships was decided this afternoon in ideal weather. City, playiug Grafton, scored 119 and 70, "and Grafton's total in the first innings was 242. Grafton won by an innings and 5a runs, scoring a three-point win. Eden won the championship for 1907 by to-day defeating Pmisonby on the first innings by 103. I'uiiMinby made 00 and four wickets for 8U (R. Woods 32, Robinsjn 23), and Eden scored 103 (Smith 43, I. Mills 40, Stevenson 27, G. Mills 22). White got eight wickets for 47. North Shore defeated Parnell on the first innings by 110 runs. Parnell scored 90 and eight for 51 (Murray 17). whilo North Shore scored 200 (Haddon 20, Howden 65, Wallace 27, Dacre 24, Prime 19). The season is practically finished now.
