THE BLACKBALL STRIKE.
ARBITRATION COURT DECISION. | ANOTHER DEADLOCK. Per Press Association. Creymouth. Last -Night. The decision of the Arbitration Court ill the Blackball strike was given this inorning. The Court found tlie men guilty of breaches on all points, and inflicted a fine of £75, with costs, on the Union.
The counter case brought, against the Company by the Union for wrongful dismissal was dismissed, with cosls £3 3s against the Union.
The miners held a meeting at Blackball this afternoon and decided not to resume work to-morrow, holding that the meeting on Thursday was illegally called. A deputation waited on the manager to-night and stated that the miners would not start until half an hour's crib time was allowed, and a 'written guarantee given that the seven (men would not be dismissed from the mine. The manager refused to grant the demands, and there is a deadlock.
