THE ASHTOWN OUTRAGE.
London, March 6. -ur. Justtce Kenny states that there is not a stintilla of evidence to indicate that Lord Ashtown himself arranged the outrage at Glenhira Lodge in order to give color to his reports of the outrages of Irish agitators. He severely condemns Inspector Preston for having signed the report charging Lord Ashtown with being privy to the outrage under orders of the Inspector-General ot the Constabulary, where he (Inspector Preston) did not intend to make tho charge himself.
Mr. Justice Kenny believes that Inspector Preston's original report has beon altered in Dublin Castle, either by Sir Neville Chamberlain, or by the Un-der-Secretary.
The Judge's report confirms the County Court's awards of damuxes in the case.
