The Newcastle Miners Lodges took a ireah ballot on the question, whether the Luion should agree to the Special Mining Court taking evidence on private matters in camera. It is believed that this was dune in view of the nin stand taken by the president of the Court. The result was favorable. The Court is now left untrammeled in the taking of evidence.
