At Opunake on the 2nd instant more tluu the average number of cattle were .Yarded, and there was a good attendance of buyers, aud, despite the coiitwued dry weather, we hud a successlul sale; with the exception of a few weaucrs everything was disposed of at slightly improved prices. At Eltham on the 3rd instant we had a good yarding of cattle, most of whk-h louud buyers, prices being about on a par with late quotations. At Uawera on the sth instant there was a moderate yarding of both cattle «"u .neep. There was a fair attendance, aud most lines found buyers prices showing a slight improvement.
