Per Press Association. .Napier, l.a-l Night. 'Che annual meeting ol tin 1 nitcd Pre!;. Association was hcid at the Masonic Hotel to-day, Ihe chairman 01 directors (Mr. U. Fenwkk) presiding. Nearly all the shareholders were present. ' Jt was intimated that the Association hud secured the copyright for Sew Zealand of the narrative of the Antarctic expedition from Lieutenant Shackleton, which was expected to come to hand next month. The chairman spoke in feeling terms of ihe loss lo the Association by the recent death of the late Mr. ,1. o'. Wilkin, of the Lytlelto'iTimes, who had been a member of the, Board of Directors since 18!)-!. A resolution of sympathy and condolence was passed liv the members standing. Mr. IT. Horton, of the New Zealand Herald, was elected on the Hoard in place of Mr. Wilkin. Wanganui was selected as the next place of meeting. 'The Board net after the animal meeting and elected Mr. R W. Knowle*. of Napier, as chairman for the ensuing year.
