Delaware, Heartiest, ivm. and States led into the straight the first time and past the stand. Along the river stretch Delaware took up tin- running, and later forged ahead. At the bridge Delaware was leading by tv,i> lengths, Enchanted next, and theu Peru. Enchanted led at the abattoir- from (iiinviiK'dcs by half a length, Delaware and Peru lying next. The pace i|iiickened at th? sheds, Enchanted -ailing along from lianvniedes, Peru, and Delaware, with Tulkeroo, Apologue, and Jiooran rapidly making up. Enchanted led the field into the home turn, and was first into the straight. Delaware was beaded at the distance, and Peru, hi. pressing the latter, ran along the rails and won by a length from Tulkeroo, Enchanted a length away third. Time, 4mU OVisec.
