LABOR TROUBLES.
SPECIAL COURT DEADLOCK. # Per Press Association. Sydney, February 28. A deadlock has arisen at the Special Coalmining Court. Counsel for the millers intimated that the miners' committee had de}ou sii.w uojssiiuuioo ijutfl popw empowered to take evidence iu camera for any consideration, and that all evidence must, be given in open court. Tlie President held tliat the Commission was empowered to take certain evidence in camera. The committee's attitude was untenable. It was making a mountain out of a molehill. Later a witness on behalf of the owners deeljjed to give evidence with reference to tlie financial position of a company excepting in camera. The miners' counsel then asked for an adjournment to enable the miners' executive to consider the position. The president adjourned the Court for a week. He said lie hoped wise counsels would prevail with the miner'!.
STRIKE OF IRONWORKERS. Received 28th, 11.10 p.m. Sydney, February 28. The ironworkers' assistant's at Morts dock have struck against the employment of five non-unionists.
