A SERIES OF TUNNELS. Received 27th, 1.12 a.m. New, York, February 20. President Roosevelt touched a button at Washington and inaugurated the first pair of Hudson River tunnels between Manhattan Island and New Jersey. These are forerunners of others at an aggregate cost of GO million sterling.
