Per l'ress Association. llotorua, Saturday Night. The Rotoura Carnival has been verv successful so far. The Maori hakas and poi dances have been the liest seen in tne district since the Royal visit. There is a large number of visitors at Rotorua. Cardinal Moron left on Thursday, lie visited Whakarewarewa with' a large clerical party, including Archbishop Redwood. After inspecting the thermal sites at Whakarewarewa under the guidance of Maggie Papakura. he waa entertained to u luncheon at tile Geyser Hotel by Count Horner, of Sweden. Messis. T. E. and A. E. Donno wcru also of the party. Native girls gave several exhibitions of poi work. Cardinal Moran expressed himself as being astonished and delighted at the thermal and as having thoroughly enjoyed his visit to Rotorua.
