At 2.30 a.m. it was discovered thai'something had gone wrong with the fcentre propeller, which necessitated tlie ; stopping of the centre engine. The .vessel was brought on with the remaining two propellers, and did not reach Lyttelton until 7.40 a.m. A diver went d«\vn to make an examination and foucy that one of the propeller blades had; been cast. ,The vessel will leave foj- Wellington to-night as usual, and on Returning on Tlmfsday morning she Vill be docked to have a new propellertfittod. Advantage will also be taken of lor being in dock to cleiin ajjtl paint; t|e. hull. She will resumo her run on Saturday. The Mahcno, which arrives at Lyttelton on Thursday morning, will Lyttelton to take passengers on tu-Wel-lington on thc arrival of the first depress from the South. S .
