. JUNIOR CIVIL SERVICE PASSES.' TARANAKI SUCCESSES. Wellington, Last Night. Nine hundred and forty-three candidates passed the Civil Service junior examination, 620 with credit. Among the first hundred are Francis Prideaux (Stratford), second on the list; J. P. Grant (New Plymouth), eleventh; and Alice W. Bollinger (New Plymouth), 85th. Five hundred and eighty-five can. didates passed the examination for free places.
