Dr. Wagner, lunacy expert, deposed that Thaw told lum that Stanford White invited him in 1000 to one of hia parties in Madison Square Tower. Thaw afterwards saw White in a New York theatre with Evelyn Ncsbitt. An acquaintance said she belonged to White. Thaw rejoined: "I don't sec how such a girl can care for White, who with his reddish hair looks like an ape." The Judge decided to limit the prosooution and defence to three experts ea:h.
