KISSES OVER THE COUNTER.

The young postmaster of a village was hard at work in his ollice when°a gentle tap was hear* upon the door, and m stepped a blushing maiden of sixteen, with a money order which she desired cashed. She handed it, with a ba.hfui smile, to the official, who. alter closely examining it, gave her the money i't called for.
