LADY MADCAP. On Friday evening Mr J. C. Williamson's new musical comedy company will stage, for the iirst time here the great musical play, "Lady Madcap." Not since "Florodora" has a musical play caught the public taste to such an extent as ''Lady Madcap." The success wliich atended its first Australian production at the Princess Theatre, Melbourne, is almost unprecedented in the theatrical history of the colonies. ''Lady Madcap" is one of the biggest productions that lias been stayed outside Sydney and Melbourne, and the company is one of the. largest that has even been sent on tour by Mr J. C. Williamson. The play contains many eaptivating choruses and solos which instantly appeal lo the car and are hummed and whistled for many a day. The company numbers about 100 all told, and a large orchestra is a great feature of the production. Mr Henry Bray supervises the staging, and Mr Alfred \\loulton conducts the orchestra. The box plan at the Colonial Piano Co.'s promises a warm reception for the company, as a large house teems
