HALF-YEARLi MEETING. Received Jan. 21, 0.48 p.m. Sydney, January 21. At the half-yearly meeting of tlie Commercial Banking Company at Sydney the net profits were shown "at £110,(165. A dividend of 10 per cent, was declared. The sum of £20,000 was added to the reserve, and. £29,377 carried forward. To commemorate his sixty years' service in the bank, Mr. Dibbs, general manager, was donated £SOOO with which to inaugurate a fund for the relief of sickness, distress, and misfortune amongst the officers of the bank.
