EDUCATION IN IRELAND.
FOUNDING A CATHOLIC UNI- ; VEESITV. PROPOSED GOVERNMENT GRANT. Received Jan. 16, 10.55 p.m. London, January 15. The Pall Mall Gazette states that the Right Hon. Mr. Birrell, President of the Board of Education, early in the coming session will introduce a Bill to establish a national Roman Catholic university in Ireland with a Government grant of £30,000 annually, representing £6O , per studeit.
