PRIMITIVE METHODIST CONFERENCE.

Per Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The fifteenth Primitive Methodist Conference met this afternoon, over one hundred delegates and visitors being present. The Rev. Mr. Ward was in the chair. Officers were appointed as follows:—President, Rev. Mr. Olphert • Vice-President, Mr. Rudd; Secretary, Rev. Mr, Southern; Assistants, Rev. Messrs. Fcatherston and Woolloxall and Mr. Moor; Letter-writers, Rev. Messrs. Raine and ; Llddle and Mr. Varney; Reporters, Rev. Messrs. Drake, Mann, and Cocker; Auditors, Rev. Messrs. Clement and Dobbs. Rev. Mr. Flanagan, of England, received a hearty welcome. Tha President's address will be delivered tomorrow. Later. At the Primitive Methoist Conference this evening the church was crowded to hear a sermon by the Rev. ,T. Flanagan on "The Fruits of Prayer." showing that prayer is a revelation of the unseen, a glorification of the commonplace, and a transfiguration of the life. The sermon sustained the evangelist's great reputation, being a masterly deliverance.
