FRENCH HOSPITAL TRANSPORT. Morocco, January 7. The French hospital transport Ni»» was wrecked on the coast of Morocco. There were 240 persons aboard, all told. All were saved by means of a rocket apparatus, , PETROLEUM BOAT DESTROYED, London, January 7. The Anglo-American Oil Company's steamer Honsatonui, with a cargo of petroleum, struck the Maiden Rocks oa North East Island. The rocket apparatus set fire to the ship. Pie crew took to the l»ats. • Twp seamen were drowned, but the rest landed safely. * When the boats were well clear i f the steamer, a terrific explosion occurred.
