The Australian covered 13 or 14 miles in his boat and 16 or 18 miles on land. He la delighted with the climate and the river, which he regards as a magnificent one for rowing on. He prefers it to the PaTamatta. He Is very agreeably surprised to find the conditions so admirable for training.
