CAPTURE BY POLICE OFFICERS. Durban, January 3. Mackenzie has delayed his departure from Zululand. Police officers at night raided a rebel hiding place captured a dozen armed natives who are believed to belong to a large gang. REBELS SURPRISED. TWO KILLED. Received sth, 5.5 p.m. Durban, January 4. The police patrol surprised a small party of rebel Zulus in some caves at the junction of the Black and White Unolvi rivers. Two of the rebels were killed, but the rest made their escape, leaving their rifles and bandoliers.
