THE BROOKLYN CASE, HUSBAND DETAINED. Received sth, 5.5 p.m. j New York, January 4, The woman found in the New Jersey swamp was Lena Whitmore, the wife of a railwayman at Brooklyn. She disappeared at Christmas. Afterwards she was seen with her husband. The lat-' ter has been detained, but not charged.
