Men's Championship Doubles.—Paterson and Upton beat .Sutton and Cooke, 7—5, 6—3, 6-3. Combined Championship Doubles.— Br. Keith and Mise Titling beat Dr. lianiford and Miss P. Corrie, 6—3, ti—3. Ladies' Championship Doubles—Misses Udy and P. Corrie Wat Mrs. Freeman and Miss Cooke, 6 —2, 6—3; Miss (!. Corrie and Mrs. Stewart beat Misses Walker and E. Martin, 6—3, o—l.
Ladies' Handicap Doubles.—Misses O. Gorrie and M. Gray beat Misses I. and T. Walker; Misses Hull and Gorrie beat Misses Williams and Duder; .Misses Parson and Walker heat Misses Utting and Perry; Mrs. P. S. Allen and Miss Woodroffe beat Misses Udy and Martin.
WELLINGTON TOURNAMENT. Per Press Association. Wellington, -Wat Night. The Wellington provincial tennis tournament was continued at Day's Bay to-day. The weather was again perfect. Good progress was made with the various matches, but the tournament is not yet over. To-morrow afternoon the linals will be played of the men's and ladies' championship doubles, and combined championship doubles. The men's championship doubles was won by Aitken and Gore, who beat Hunter and Howe 6—2, 6—4.
The following won their games ini the uncompleted championship events: — Ladies' Doubles—Semi finals: Mrs Hickson and Miss E. Williams. Combined Doubles—Miss Marsh and H. M. Gore, Mrs llickson and R. Swanston.
The .Men's Handicap Doubles was won by Keeling and Hawkins (received 15), who beat Goss and Ollivicr (scr.), 70—fil-
In the final of the Men's Handicap Singles (first grade) H. V. Howe (received 13) beat L. W. Hawkins (received 10), 60—51, The Ladles' Handicap Singles was won by Mis Sscott (received 1C), who defeated Miss K. Mcintosh (received 23) 50—46.
Miss Penny and Mrs Hawkins (received 16) beat Miss Marchant and Miss Bickson (scratch) in the final of the Ladicjt' Handicap Doubles, 50—28. '
