Mile Trot—MeArtney 1, Sterling King 2, Lady .Vancleve 3. Also ran: Young Stanley, Explanation, Theresa, W. Prince, Petty Imagination, Honor Bright, Commandinte, Yound, Edith, and Belle CUilde. Young Stanley finished second, but was disqualified for starting before time. McArtney won easily, but a protest for inconsistent running has yet to be decided.
