THE IRISH PARTY.
RE-ESTABLISHING UNITY. SPEECH BY WILLIAM O'BIMiN. llcccived 2nd, 9.30 p.m. London, January 2. Willi 1111 O'Brien, addressing a Nationalist demonstration at Vincrane, said that the mass of people must assert themselves and compel re-union. The real cause of the troubles was the Parliamentary Party and the National Directory League, which, he declared, usurped the people's power and obtained the control of the people. He went on to say that there were boundless Aus. fralian funds at the Party's disposal which could not be better employed than in summoning a convention to reestablish unity, hut the Rcdmondites, he said, shrank from such a convention.
