Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A shop and dwelling at Roaeneath were burned down this morning. There was an insurance of C 2.30 on the contents in the Alliance ollice.

The building was one of the few wooden ones left in the brick area. The cause ot the hre is ascribed (o ashes from a tire in Phillips' living room being blown oul of the grate by (he gale which prevailed while Phillips wais out.
