SUCCESSFUL DIVIXG OPERATIONS. Per Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A telegraphic message was received in Auckland from the North to-day by Captain McKenzic, promoter of the expedition, intimating that tlie parly which left Auckland oil Mw. Claymore a fort-
night ago for the Three Kings Islandto search for the remainder of the specie from the wreck of the Klingamite has recovered a good quantity of the treasure. The weather has evidently been favorable for the carrying out of diving operations, and the etl'orts of the party in this direction appear to have been very successful. The amount recovered oil the present expedition has as yet not been ascertained. The Claymore party consider that the rest of the treasure is now in sight. The Elingamite, which was wrecked on the Three Kings oil !)th November, 1902, had on board Cl7,:uin of specie, of which about €2(100 has been recovered in the several attempts which have been made prior to the present one.
